Welcome to our website. If you continue to browse and use this website you are agreeing to comply with and be bound by the following terms and conditions of use, which together with our privacy policy govern Mad About Cat's relationship with you in relation to this website.

Customers who wish to purchase products from the website will have to tick a check box to re-confirm their acceptance of our terms and conditions.

Customer Promise

Mad About Cats promise that:

We will despatch orders promptly, on most occasions within 2 working days. However, please allow up to 5 working days and at busy times (e.g. Christmas) slightly longer. If we are aware of a delay we will email as soon as possible. However, we cannot be held responsible for messages not being received due to incorrect email addresses.

If you require more information about the delivery of a specific order please email us and we wil give you an approximate despatch date.

If you require delivery of an order for a specific date please indicate this in the message box on the original order or email us immediately after the order has been placed. If possible, orders with a required delivery date will be given priority - please give us as much notice as possible. 

You will be notified by email when your order has been despatched and if your parcel will be delivered by Royal Mail or Courier.

After despatch, orders are normally delivered to UK Mainland destinations within 1 to 2 working days, however we cannot be held responsible for the performance of our delivery provider.

Orders that qualify for Free P&P will be sent by the most cost effective method and delivery times might be slightly longer.

No money will be debited from your credit/debit card until just prior to despatch. Please note that all goods offered are subject to availability.

Cancellation, Refunds and Returns Policy

Orders can be cancelled at anytime from the moment the order is placed. The cancellation rights end 7 working days after the day on which you receive the goods. Notification of cancellation must be sent in writing (letter/email/fax) and be received by us within this period.

Orders cancelled prior to despatch will simply be deleted from our system and an email confirming the cancellation will be sent to you.

After despatch, we will refund the cost of any item, if you are not happy with it for any reason providing we are contacted in writing (letter/email/fax) within 7 working days of receipt and the item is returned at your own expense in good condition with the original packaging within 14 working days.

Also we will readily exchange or refund any items that are damaged in transit, assuming we are notified of the damage in writing (letter/email/fax) within 7 working days of receipt. Once contacted we will advise you of how to proceed.

Payments

Payment can be made by Credit Card, Debit Card, Cheque and Postal Order.

Please note: If paying by cheque, the goods will only be despatched once the cheque has been deposited and cleared. This will delay the despatch of your order by upto 14 working days. It is important if sending a cheque that it is made payable to
"MAD ABOUT CATS" and your name & address is written on the reverse so that we can cross-reference it with your order.

Security

Mad About Cats online shop uses a high quality industry standard SSL encryption process to ensure the security of any credit/debit card information sent to us.

Rest assured we will not pass on your e:mail address or contact details to any other company so contact with our company will not result in SPAM or JUNK MAIL.

We may send out mailings (via e:mail or post) to our contacts/customers about product information and special offers. If you do not wish to receive postal messages, simply let us know. If you wish to unsubscribe from email messages simply follow the instructions on the message and you will be deleted from our electronic mailing list.

Competitions & Prizes

Mad About Cats will endeavour to carry out prize and competition draws on the specified date, but delays may occur due to business priorities.

Free Prizes will be despatched within approx 30 days of the winner being announced on the site. Gifts paid for by prize gift vouchers alone are classed as Free Prizes and will be despatched within approx 30 days of ordering. Mad About Cats will not be responsible for any free prizes that are lost or damaged in transit.

For their entry to be valid all participants in our competitions must be registered on our Email Newsletter Mailing List at the time of the prize draw.
